Real-Time Ultrasound imaging in the hands of the physical therapist can be a very powerful tool for both initial patient assessment and also improving efficacy of treatment. We offer several types of ultrasound imaging systems, largely based on price.
HANDHELD Ultrasound
At the most affordable end, we offer the SonoEye Handheld ultrasound system-in-a-probe.
The SonoEye probe is snap-on connected to its 10" Tablet so there are no complications with bluetooth connections and the ultrasound image is a better image.
The SonoEye Probe is also much lighter (120g) as it does not need a battery within the probe itself. Many wireless probes have internal batteries and are 500 to 1000 grams.
The SonoEye Probe has 3 buttons on the probe for FREEZE, GAIN and SAVE.
The Tablet comes preloaded with the SonoEye application so it is ready to go right out of the box.
The Tablet is gesture controlled which enables making image adjustments and measurements to be very easy.
The Tablet also comes with its own secure and balanced 18" high stand.
There are no ongoing subscriptions; so, you own your handheld ultrasound outright from the start.
There are 5 different SonoEye systems-in-a-probe available but the most appropriate are the SonoEye P2, a linear probe with frequencies from 7.5 to 12.0 MHz good for most superficial applications (< 3 to 4 cm from the surface of the skin, where the probe is placed) and the SonoEye P5 which is a convex probe that scans at 3.5 MHz and can look 15 cm deep or more if cystic structures are present.
